The mount was pretty rock solid and super helpful to have everything within eyesight and arm's reach. $27 BaoFeng UV-5R Dual Band Two Way Radio (Black) BaoFeng UV-5R, and an iPad Mini 2. Installation instructions can be found HERE As far as connectivity, cables can be ran through the DMM thanks to 2 notches along the back of it that will allow you to connect any device mounted to the DMM without having cables dangling in front. The DMM is RAM compatible and any other accesories that use 1" or 25mm ball mounts will work fine. many accessories and gadgets can made and/or adapted to work with this mount.

I personally use it for mounting my phone and tablet but that is only the beginning. AND if that wasn't practical enough it is also not an ugly mayan pyramid sitting right in front of your face, the DMM maintains a stock look while giving you all the practicality of a multi point mounting system. The DMM easily bolts into your Taco's dashboard behind the trim that surrounds the center screen, it remains hidden (completely hidden!) until you mount something to it, and when you do want to mount something, a phone, tablet, switch box, CB, etc, all you do is put a screw on it.The DMM is position so that you can easily have a device like a phone mounted in such a way that it will NOT obstruct your forward visibility, your infotainment screen, buttons or A/C vents. Most common use is a universal 1" ball mount which can then be used to mount basically an unlimited variety of accesories to the dash of your Taco. The DMM gives users 6 SOLID mounting locations for anything you want to bolt to your dash. We all have one or more accesories that we would like to keep handy or in line of sight when driving our tacos on or off road, but there's nowhere to mount anything on the Taco from the factory so after trying all the common solutions, I decided to make my own. The DMM is a solution to a problem that most of us now face in one way or another.
